This was part of the Acadian Study Group. The Acadian Study Group completed its work and discontinued with the publication of a large section in the February, 2011 Complex Weavers' Journal.

Also, we bring a request for help from a very long-standing CW member: For some years now Sigrid Piroch has been working on a project to secure the weaving legacy of Marian Powell. Unfortunately, Sigrid has some health problems that limit her ability to do all the tasks involved and she is keen to have help with them in case she is unable to complete the work. She is looking for one or two individuals who would be able to help her with the task of scanning samples. You would need a scanner, and photo editing software to trim and sharpen the scans, and the availability to start right away. If you would like to help Sigrid, please contact her at SigridArtsStudio@aol.com.
